Acker Signs Contract with Milano

Last years runner-up in Italy’s top league, Armani Jeans Milano, just added former Detroit Pistons & Los Angeles Clippers guard Alex Acker. He has only played one season in the NBA even though he was selected by the Pistons with the last pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. With the Pistons & Clippers, Acker averaged 2.7 points in only 7.8 minutes over 30 games.

Before getting drafted to the NBA, the 6-foot-5 guard played college ball for the Pepperdine Waves. He then went overseas to play for FC Barcelona in Spain & Olympiakos Pireus in Greece (two of the top European pro teams).
