Another Championship?

Pau Gasol and his 18+ points per game have helped lead a stacked Spain to the 2009 EuroBasket Championship in Poland against a feisty Serbian squad.

Pau just picked up his first NBA Championship ring several months ago with the Los Angeles Lakers and is now seeking another championship with Spain. He was the Most Valuable Player for Spain when they blew out Greece 70-47 in the 2006 FIBA World Championship. Greece had defeated the United States in the semifinals.

Along with Pau, Spain has his brother Marc (Memphis Grizzles), Rudy Fernandez (Portland Trail Blazers), and Ricky Rubio (Regal Barcelona). Serbia is led by Miloš Teodosić (Olympiakos Piraeus) and Nenad Krisic (Oklahoma City Thunder).
