Linas Kleiza Olympiacos Olympiakos

Former Denver Nuggets forward, Linas Kleiza, signed a 2-year deal with Olympiacos Pireus today. His new contract is worth $12.2M and he can opt out of the deal after one year.

The Lithuanian-born star, who played at the University of Missouri, will complete a trio of NBA stars on this Greek power squad. Earlier this year, Olympiacos signed former Houston Rockets & Florida State Seminoles guard Von Wafer and last year they made a huge splash in the NBA when they acquired former Stanford Cardinal, Josh Childress, from the Atlanta Hawks. Childress, who also picked up a Greek Nike shoe deal along the way, is definitely their biggest star and his all-around game should work perfectly with Wafer’s athleticism and Kleiza’s size & shooting range.

Olympiacos reached the Finals in the Greek A1 League last year, but fell 3-1 to Panathinaikos.
