Michael Jordan Kobe Bryant top dunks dunkers

Here are videos of the Top-10 Dunks by the Top-10 Dunkers in the modern era of basketball and tomorrow we will cover the Five Sickest Dunks Ever. By the way, that means 100 sick dunks! Couldn’t ask for much more than that. Let me know who is in your Top-10. Post it below. Enjoy…

10. Dwight “Twitter Me” Howard
Okay, so maybe that is not his nickname, but it should be. Anyways, this Super Human can somehow fly. If a horse and a kangaroo had sex, Dwight would be their offspring.

9. Shawn “The Reign Man” Kemp
Without my favorite player, Gary “The Glove” Payton, I am not sure Kemp would be in the Top-10. One thing is certain though, whether he was throwing down monstrous jams, railing a baggy of blow, or fighting Genghis Khan for the record of illegitimate children…The Reign Man always brought the thunder!

8. Clyde “The Glide” Drexler
The Glide was like the Poor Man’s MJ and I mean that as a huge compliment. If somebody described me as the Homeless Man’s MJ (to steal a line from The Sports Guy), I would be stoked out of my mind.

7. Anthony “Spud” Webb
This guy is shorter than my mom and won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest! Enough said. I know this is not a “Top-10″ List, but how sick is the soundtrack?

6. Kobe “Black Mamba” Bryant
He is still making highlight dunks and is entering his 14th year in the NBA.

5. “King” LeBron “Video Game” James
Some of his best dunks are definitely yet to come, but this guy is a BEAST. He has the same height/weight as Karl Malone, but is arguably always the most athletic player on the floor. How is that possible? I am tempted to move him higher because I love the two-handed authoritative dunks he throws down on a nightly basis. I am not sure why this video is in such poor quality, but maybe LBJ was shaking the building too hard.

4. Vince “Half-Man Half-Amazing” Carter
He just did WHAT?!?! That is usually what is said after Vinsanity does something…whether he is dunking on some 7-footer in the Olympics or being a complete lazy ass. By the way, click here for his Top-10 Missed Dunks.

3. Dominique “The Human Highlight Reel” Wilkins
Nique was throwing down two-handed tomahawk dunks on people’s faces in the NBA before LeBron was even born. I don’t know how it is possible to move in the air like him. I wish he would join my Men’s League Volleyball Team.

2. Dr. Julius Erving
He started it all and could palm the ball running full speed better than anybody has ever been able to.

1. “Air” Michael Jordan
I don’t have the words in my lexicon to describe His Airness.

I hope you enjoyed these. I realize some of the videos are a year or two old and some are in pretty questionable quality so I will leave you with this…My Favorite Dunk of All-Time!

  1. I am utterly disgusted that you do not have any of these dunks on your top ten. Some of these are better than the ones you posted, especially the first. I get he may no longer have ligaments or can even dunk but still, he used to be able to throw it down.

There’s no way Vince Carter isn’t no. 1. This isn’t the best players who are good dunkers, or the best at getting dunks, but the best dunker ever is Vince Carter.

I was tempted to move him higher, but he is just so inconsistent. The Top-3 would throw down impressive dunks every night of the week.
