Rich Rodriguez happy University of Michigan

Are people really wasting time & money on “investigating” coach Rich Rodriguez & the University of Michigan’s excess practice times? Really? We don’t have anything better to do?

BREAKING NEWS: Every NCAA team in every sport violates some rule!

You have to be kidding yourself if you disagree. Whether they know it or not, every University breaks some NCAA violations. Whether an assistant coach talks to his son’s friend who may or may not be a potential recruit in the future at some high school football game OR Urban Meyer spends too much time on Twitter OR Rich Rodriguez says “voluntary” workouts are not voluntary…it happens.

People are bashing Rodriguez like it is their job…and for some it is! This guy has two kids and a wife! I know Michigan did poorly last year and people want to fire him, but he did lead this podunk school named West Virgina to a 57-18 record over his last six seasons (32-5 over the last three) and two BCS Bowls, including a victory in the 2005 Sugar Bowl! Let up people! Breathe! Relax! Put things into perspective!

The War in Afghanistan…the Collapse of the World Economy…an Assistant Coach at Off-Season Workouts…

One of those do not fit…

You choose!
